The Sok San Road area is home to the bustling Siem Reap backpacker district and is a place to visit if you want to be close to the city's famous temples and other tourist attractions such as the Angkor Temples. Many travellers like to stay nearby as there are many restaurants and bars in the area, as well as a number of shops and restaurants. There is also the famous Pub Street in Siem Reap, which is located at the end of the street and is a good place for those looking for a rich nightlife. Although there is no shortage of hotels and hostels on the main street of the Cambodian capital, most accommodations are cheap and friendly. Located in the heart of the city, just a few blocks from the main hotel, it is an inexpensive tuk-tuku ride that takes you almost anywhere in and around the city. There are a number of restaurants, bars, shops, cafes, restaurants and even one or two cafes as well as a variety of shops and restaurants.
